Project Overview
Columns were received at the workshop, fabrication was completed by the team, and the full structure was installed on site in Perdeberg. The installation was reviewed and approved by the client.
Scope of Work
- Workshop fabrication and on-site installation of the primary steel structure
- Roof and wall sheeting planned for the following weeks
- Final touch-ups and close-out installation works
Execution Method
After receiving the columns at the workshop, the team completed fabrication in sequence, transported the assembled members to site, and installed the frame with a six-person crew.
Why This Approach
The client requested a portal-frame layout sized 15x30 with two 7.30m link-to bays to meet the required site layout and warehouse use.
Major constraint: Sheeting is scheduled as a follow-on phase in the coming weeks.
Results
The primary structure was completed safely and on time, with site approval recorded and the project prepared for sheeting and final finishing.
