Project Overview
Planning was completed on site, while the columns and beams were fabricated at the workshop. The team then completed installation at the Free State site, and the client approved the work during review.
Scope of Work
- 20x30 portal frame installation
- Roof and wall sheeting installation (next phase)
- Touch-ups and final handover instructions
Execution Method
Beams were received at the workshop, fabrication started immediately, and the full structural frame was installed on site by the crew.
Why This Approach
The client selected the portal frame design for its structural strength and performance for warehouse use.
Major constraint: Sheeting installation is planned for the following weeks, so final close-out depends on that schedule.
Results
The client gave positive feedback and described the structure as solid and steady.
